About Us

Tree3 is a recently formed duo that is generating excitement in the Toledo music scene. The duo is comprised of the young, up and coming jazz vocalist, Caroline McGuckin, and Toledo musician John Barile. Caroline, a mezzo-soprano, has a throw-back, 'Billie Holiday' tone to her voice and sings an array of musical genres. John, a 30-year veteran of the Toledo music scene, adds his wide variety of honed talents to the duo, including the guitar, mandolin, ukulele, Native American flutes, and vocals. This must-see duo adds a new touch to old jazz and an old touch to new music.

Tree3's John Barile has shared the stage with a number of special guests, including: Jethro Tull, Santana, Allman Brothers, Keb mo, Hot tuna, Sam bush band, Foreigner, Widespread panic, Eka mouse, Trinidad tripoli steel band, Big head Todd and the monster, and Ekostik hookah. Together, Tree3 opened for Scotty McCreery and played with neumerous local artists.
